The test room of this sleep-center is for evaluating nigh light condition for sleep effect.
For the evening mode, when comparing with the conventional incandescent of 2857K, and a low color temperature of 1800K which is always used for the dim-to-warm lighting, the FlameWarm light gives the m-DER with only 0.042, making the m-EDI only 6 lx when the vertical illuminance achieves 100 lx and CS only 0.016.
For night mode, the FlameWarm bulb gives the m-EDI only 1 lx when the vertical illuminance still maintains 20 lx.
Both modes are compliant with the CIE 015 recommendations of:
• During the evening the recommended maximum melanopic EDI is 10 lx;
• During the night, the recommended maximum ambient melanopic EDI is 1 lx.
